This project was inspired by the enchanting atmosphere of the Harry Potter movies. I transformed a daylight scene in Ghent into a magical night setting, focusing on color grading and lighting to create an unreal, mystical environment.
To bring the image to life, I meticulously separated all the elements into different layers and animated them using After Effects. This approach allowed me to add depth and motion to the scene, enhancing the mystical atmosphere and making the environment feel dynamic and alive. The animation process was key in transforming the static image into a living, breathing piece of art.
